Following a month-long study of the California missions, the fourth grade students of The Children’s School held an open house and exhibition to showcase their learning. Each of the students became an expert on one of the 21 missions, learning about mission life, the early history of the mission, and how the mission is used today. Students presented their learning by sharing a written report, visual aid and artifact that they created. Parents, teachers, and students were invited to the exhibit to see the students’ work and learn more about the California missions.
