Sixth Graders Create Scale Map of Campus

Sixth grade students at The Children's School recently finished up their study of maps and scale models in science as well as area and perimeter in math by creating their very own map of the TCS campus. Students took a few days to measure each of the buildings on campus and then found the perimeter and area of each building. Students then determined the necessary scale for their map in order for all the buildings to fit on one blueprint paper. The measurements were then used to create an electronic scale map of The Children's School.
