San Diego Workforce Investment Board Appoints 8 New Members

The San Diego Workforce Partnership’s President and CEO, Peter Callstrom, announced the addition of eight new members to the Workforce Investment Board (WIB). In addition to providing recommendations and oversight for funding and policy development for our region, WIB members serve alongside other community leaders who represent all areas of the county. The 49 members of the WIB include businesses, education, community-based organizations, organized labor, and leaders and advocates for workforce development.

•      Ray Ellis, Principal of Ellis & Associates, LLC

•      Rosa Ana Lozada, Chief Executive Officer of Harmonium, Inc.

•      Marc Martin, Vice President of Karl Strauss Brewing, Co.

•      Stormy Miller, Resource Coordinator at the San Diego Regional Center

•      Paul Roben, Senior Director of the Office of Technology Development and Director of Business Development at the Salk Institute

•      Adam Shapiro, Dean of the College of Humanities, Arts, Behavioral and Social Sciences at California State University, San Marcos

•      Karen Winston, Vice President of Workforce Development & STEM Initiatives for CONNECT
