HNTB Corporation announces Kevin Reed, PE, as new San Diego office leader
HNTB Corporation, a national infrastructure solutions firm with five offices in Southern California, has promoted Kevin Reed, PE, to associate vice president and San Diego office leader.
Reed joined HNTB more than 12 years ago as an aviation project engineer and has made significant contributions to HNTB’s aviation market sector, working on signature projects in the region, including the Green Build at San Diego International Airport. In his new role as San Diego office leader, he is responsible for operations, business development, management of the office, and staff and client development.
“Kevin has a long history of achievements with the firm and his considerable experience will further enhance our work with clients in San Diego,” said Phil Petrocelli, HNTB president, West Division.
Celebrating 100 years of service, HNTB has been involved in San Diego’s most complex infrastructure projects, including the Green Build, Terminal 2 West, which is the first commercial airport terminal in the world certified Platinum in Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design ; the I-15 Express Lanes; and traction power substation installation for the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System’s Orange and Blue trolley lines. HNTB currently is working on multiple Los Angeles-San Diego-San Luis Obispo Rail Corridor Agency double track projects for SANDAG and the Positive Train Control Program for the North County Transit District.
