Y-3 Fashion Retailer Signs Lease in La Jolla

Y-3, a mens, womens and kids clothing and accessories retailer, signed a lease for space at 7852 Girard Ave.

Another fashion retailer is moving to La Jolla. According to Cassidy Turley San Diego, Y-3 signed a lease for 1,500 square feet of retail space at 7852 Girard Ave. in the village. The space is centrally located next to toys.

Y-3 is a men’s and women’s apparel, footwear and accessories brand. The brand is a collaboration by Adidas and Japanese fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto. Apparel includes shirts, pants, dresses, swimwear and jackets. Prices range. A look at the merchandize on its website found a jersey tank costs $145, a $195 long-sleeved hoodie, $460 for a heeled sneaker, and $780 for a checked dress.

Y-3 has stores in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North America. The La Jolla store is scheduled to open in the summer, according to Cassidy Turley.

Mike Slattery of Cassidy Turley San Diego represented the property owner in the transaction. The five year lease is valued at $450,000.
