Workers To Protest Outside Marriott La Jolla on Tuesday

A total of 31 workers from the San Diego Marriott La Jolla on La Jolla Village Drive are expected to protest on Tuesday. The San Diego and Imperial Counties Labor Council attests the workers recently filed wage claims against Marriott for back pay due to missing 10-minute rest breaks, interrupted meal periods and work performed off the clock.

Many of these workers are in housekeeping at the hotel.

The protest is scheduled for noon, Tuesday outside the Marriott.
