Video: La Jolla's The Cookie Lady Travels to the Farmers Markets

The goodie maker is based in La Jolla but can be found at the IB Farmers Market every Friday.

The Cookie Lady of La Jolla is now ran by Joan Kuebler's son Mo Berka.

"My mom started the business selling her stuff door-to-door to neighbors in bags and little baskets and in 1991 she decided to open her own shop," Berka said.

They serve cookies, cupcakes, cakes and other sugar charged snacks are made fresh daily, he said.
