Hand-Made Tortilla Taco Stand Opening in La Jolla
The Taco Stand will open soon in the old Ortega's Place on Pearl Street in La Jolla.
The flutter of construction is a sign that the opening of The Taco Stand, a Mexican grill at 621 Pearl St. in La Jolla, is near. The Mexican restaurant will serve hand-made tortillas from the old Ortega's Place, nestled between Pizza on Pearl and China Chef.
Ortega's Place closed in September. It had been serving up Mexican food for breakfast, lunch and dinner since 1990.
