Scripps Health Named to '100 Best Companies to Work For" List

Scripps Health and Qualcomm are the only two San Diego-based companies to make the top 100 list by Fortune magazine.

Fortune magazine named the nation’s “100 Best Companies to Work For” list this month with 15 California companies making the list including two in San Diego.

Coming in at number 37 was Scripps Health. Qualcomm was ranked 33 out of 100.

“Scripps is honored to be acknowledged for the fourth time by Fortune as one of America’s premier employers,” said Chris Van Gorder, president and CEO of Scripps in an announcement. “We are proud of the care we provide our community and of the national reputation we have earned as a health care leader. This accomplishment is a result of thousands of people moving in the same direction with the same values and dedication of purpose.”
