Leave the car at home and come out for Haute La Jolla Nights in La Jolla. The La Jolla Village Merchants Association has organized a free event to celebrate summer in the village.
Haute La Jolla Nights kicks off Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. with live music, open art gallery celebrations, retail shops staying open late and restaurants serving up haute entrees for a cool summer dining experience.
Live music will be set up from Pearl to Prospect. Walk around to find jazz, blues, contemporary, pop and rock and roll.
is hosting an meet and greet with Colombian artist Orlando Agudelo-Botero, whose paintings are in the Carter Presidential Library, NBC Corporate headquarters and the Betty Ford Center. He's had numerous one-man exhibits and his work often touches on music, movement, family and sensuality.
Future Haute La Jolla Nights are July 21 and Sept. 15, both from 6 to 9 p.m.
