A new cycle studio opened on Saturday.

A new indoor cycle studio pedaled its way into Bird Rock. The Rush Indoor Cycling Studio opened on Saturday to a full house of interested fitness enthusiasts.

The cycle studio, on La Jolla Boulevard across the street from Bird Rock Coffee Roasters, will offer spin classes for everyone from beginners with no clue to hardcore cyclists with the padded shorts and clip-in shoes.

Co-owner Corey Spangler said he opened the studio because he was on a mission to find the perfect cycle class with a great bike, enthusiastic instructor, great music, ease to sign in and get a spot, perfect location and community feel.

"We want to offer predictable quality here," said co-owner and instructor Corey Spangler. "Whether picking the class by class time or by instructor – it will be the best ride."

The studio will host group classes and private sessions. Cyclist can get drop in for one class or take advance of array of memberships and class packages up to a full year of unlimited rides.

Over the next few weeks, The Rush Indoor Cycling Studio will increase their class offerings. Over the next four to five years, Rush is looking to open in several more locations including Del Mar and Solana Beach.
