Monday's Gas Prices in La Jolla

Gas prices in La Jolla are 11 cents to 29 cents more expensive than the average price in San Diego County. The average price per gallon in San Diego County was $3.807 per gallon on Sunday. Gas prices in La Jolla start at $3.92 per gallon.

The average price per gallon in San Diego has been increased several times in the past week. The average price is 4.3 cents more than a week ago and 67.9 cents more than this time a year ago, but 9.3 cents less than a month ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

In La Jolla, there is a tie for the cheapest price per gallon of regular gasoline. Both the Chevron on the corner of La Jolla Boulevard and Pearl Street and the Encon on the corner of La Jolla Boulevard and Torrey Pines Road had their prices set at $3.92 per gallon on Monday morning. However, the Encon station had cheaper unleaded plus and premium gas.

1. Encon, 2204 Torrey Pines Rd.: The price for a gallon of regular was $3.92, $4.06 for unleaded plus, $4.16 for premium, and $4.30 for a gallon of diesel.
2. , 7475 La Jolla Blvd.: The price per gallon of regular unleaded is also $3.92, it goes up to $4.10 for unleaded plus, $4.20 for premium, and $4.38 for diesel.
3. , 3232 La Jolla Village Dr.:Prices at this station near Interstate 5 were $4.10 for unleaded, $4.20 for unleaded plus, $4.30 for premium and $4.40 for diesel.
4. , 801 Pearl St.: This station offers different pricing for cash, credit and full service. If you pay cash, the price per gallon of regular is $4.10, $4.40 for plus, $4.60 for premium and $4.50 for diesel. If you pay with a credit card, the price per gallon of regular jumps to $4.30 per regular, $4.60 for plus, $4.80 for premium and $4.70 for diesel. And lastly, the price per gallon of full-service regular unleaded gasoline is $5.70, $5.90 for plus and $6 per gallon of plus or diesel gas.

Gas stations are ranked by the price per gallon of unleaded on July 18. Prices were rounded up $0.001 per gallon.
