La Jolla Sports Club’s Expansion Now Complete

The La Jolla Sports Club has acquired an additional studio, allowing for less crowding in the weight room and for quieter Wellness Studio classes.

Those who belong to or who are thinking of joining the may be aware of the recent expansion.  The three-month process first started in early 2012 and finally reached completion on March 28.

La Jolla Sports Club General Manager Claire Bullas said the owners decided to expand the current facility in order to allow some of the quieter class offerings, such as Pilates, yoga and ballet, to have a space not adjacent to weight room.

Moving the Wellness Studio also gave the La Jolla Sports Club more space.  Bullas said many of the members have expressed pleasure in the improved and now less crowded facility.

What the Expansion Means for Clients:  Clients now have the opportunity to utilize less-crowded gym space and several new pieces of equipment, including a Concept2 indoor rowing machine and a Kinesis Wall.  This multi-faceted piece of equipment allows users to take advantage of the ability to complete a full-body workout with just one machine. They have also installed several new treadmills.

New Class Offerings:  TRX and Boot Camp classes.
