Morocco Rockin

If you have never eaten a tagine or cooked in one, this class will be a treat for you. A tagine leads a parade as a dish of tender meat and or succulent veggies simmered to perfection in sauces redolent of the exotic spice bazaars of North Africa.

After hours of hands-off cooking, the tagine is presented at the table to the ohhhs and ahhhs of lucky guests.  We’ll craft a whole dinner inspired by the sun-kissed countries of North Africa. Our trip to the Maghreb starts out with a pomegranate –kissed Muhammara served with herbed pita crisps.  We’ll pair juicy sweet oranges with black olives, red onions and cilantro in a traditional Moroccan salad.

The evening’s featured dish will be a Chicken, Olive and Lemon Tagine served over Herbed Couscous.  A sweet and irresistible finale of a Cornmeal and Ricotta Cake napped in a Rose Petal syrup will have you swooning with the pleasure of an exotic adventure close to home.
