Encinitas will soon have a chicken wing so spicy that its maker warns patrons to keep it away from their eyes, pets and children.

A liquor license application shows Buffalo Wild Wings will be located at 1068 N. El Camino Real, where El Torito was before it closed unexpectedly in 2011. It's not clear exactly when it will open, but Patch has made contact with a spokeswoman who will update us soon.

It lists 20 on its website, from a very mild salt and vinegar seasoning to the “Blazin” wings.

Here are some other interesting flavors in order from mild to hot:

  • Sweet BBQ
  • Teriyaki
  • Parmesan Garlic
  • Honey BBQ
  • Spicy Garlic
  • Jammin’ Jalapeño
  • Asian Zing
  • Desert Heat

Can't wait. Encinitas is lucky to be getting one.

My friends and I used to go to B-Dubs (yes we called it B-Dubs) a few times a week when I lived in New York. I don't eat chicken, but I do drink beer and I've always enjoyed hanging out there.

Super news! The El Camino Real strip is really hurting for a B-dubs. Great sports bar, good bear, great wings, and most importantly, NTN Trivia!
