Bird Rock Fit Now Located in Windansea

Bird Rock Fit moved to a larger location on La Jolla Bouelvard in Windansea earlier this month. The fitness center replaced Dearinger’s Salon, formerly located on the corner of La Jolla Boulevard and Nautilus.

Co-owner Ethan Kopsch said the new space has a "better flow and feels more like a gym." The center now has a larger changing room with a walk-in shower, upgraded machines and equipment, and rubber flooring.

"It was hard for us to get exposure at our other space since it was hard to see from the street," Kopsch said. "This is a great central location with lots of windows."

Kopsch said so far he has received great feedback from his customers about the new location.

The center will have a grand opening celebration, complete with food, games and prizes, on Saturday, May 18 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
