Birch Aquariums will celebrate 20 years of fin-tastic exhibits and visitors on Sunday. The La Jolla aquarium will host an anniversary celebration from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
At the celerbation, Birch Aquarium will unveil a new logo, which is kelp inspired, and open a special exhibit of memories from the last 20 years. Attendees are also invited to enjoy the sunset from the aquarium's Tide-Pool Plaza. The sun is scheduled to set at 6:53 p.m.
Birch Aquarium opened on Sept. 16, 1992. In the past 20 years, more than 6 million visitors have visited the aquarium.
Stop by on Sunday to enjoy more than 60 habitats of fish and invertebrates.
