Ariccia Market Closes Up Shop on Upper Girard
The Italian market at 7441 Girard Ave. recently closed its doors.
Ariccia Italian Market on Girard Avenue closed its doors late last month. The market had opened just 16 months earlier in June 2012.
Ariccia specialized in Italian cuisine and products, including cheese, meat, fresh pastas and wine.
Patch was unable to get a hold of the owners, but a note left on the door reads "We are relocating, follow us on Facebook for updates." However, an update had yet to be provided on Facebook as of Tuesday morning.
