Local La Jolla Resident Creates Jewelry to Empower Women

La Jolla resident creates jewelry from the heart to Empower herself after having having to start over.

You might find it odd that a Realtor selling commercial and residential real estate would blog about a jewelry designer. But I had a wonderful conversation today with a woman named Catherine who creates the most beautiful jewelry.

What caught my attention was not so much the design (though they are beautiful), but the beauty and heart that went into the designs.

Catherine created her jewelry line during a very challenging time in her personal life when she found herself completely starting over. She wanted to create a signature piece that depicted nobility, strength, grace, beauty, loyalty and coolness under pressure. Catherine chose the horse. To her, the horse represents everything I just described .

In addition, the lion jewelry that Catherine creates "represents being brave in facing challenges, stepping out of our comfort zones to experience the fullness of life and being fiercely loyal to and protective of those we love."

Each piece of jewelry is hand crafted by the artist herself and no two are alike.

Catherine's jewelry is currently carried in two showcases one in La Jolla and one in New York and special pieces may be commissioned. I was so impressed by Catherine that I needed to share my find with you. You can visit her website for all of her creations and prices. Visit her at Catherinechase.com.
