You Don't Mess Around with Ingrid; Restaurateur to Sign Cookbook in La Jolla

Ingrid Croce will sign copies of her latest book at Warwick's on July 9.

Local restaurateur Ingrid Croce, the wife of the late musician Jim Croce, will discuss her newest book Photographs and Memories: Recipes from Croce's Restaurant and Jazz Bar in La Jolla on Tuesday. Croce along with Croce’s Restaurant and Jazz Bar Executive Chef James Clark will discus the cookbook and sign copies at Warwick’s at 7:30 p.m.

Croce opened her restaurant nearly 30 years ago in downtown San Diego and it’s become a landmark and destination for Jim Croce and live music fans. But it not just about the music and atmosphere; it’s also about the food.

In Photographs and Memories: Recipes from Croce's Restaurant and Jazz Bar, Croce share personal stories from her life and career with family photographs and recipes. Some recipes including the restaurant’s warm spinach salad with poached figs in a vanilla bean dressing; sesame-seared sashimi ahi with Japanese vinaigrette; and grilled free-range chicken with forest mushroom risotto.
