‘Visual Variations’ Exhibition Features Six Various Local Artists

The La Jolla Art Association will feature "Visual Variations," an exhibition showcasing six local artists Oct. 8-21.

Every two weeks a new art exhibit can be seen at the La Jolla Art Association, and beginning Oct. 8 Visual Variations will feature the artwork of six award-winning San Diego artists. The group exhibition, on display through Oct. 21, is the fourth year a collection of paintings and photographs from artists Judy Bethel, Jeffrey R. Brosbe, Dana Levine, Caroline Morse, Gwen Nobil and John Valois will be showcased together.   

Visual Variations is inspired by each artist’s unique vision and stylistic variations. Abstract works will join realistic pieces and black and white art will be shown along side bold, intense color images in the upcoming blended exhibit.

The exhibition is free and open to the public during regular gallery hours from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

An artists’ reception will be held at the gallery on Oct. 14 from 5 to 7 p.m. 

The La Jolla Art Association is located at 8100 Paseo del Ocaso, Suite B in La Jolla Shores.
