UCSD Hosts Powwow Celebration for Locals This Weekend

The Powwow is Saturday from noon to 11 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. at UC San Diego in La Jolla.

UC San Diego will host a Powwow Celebration this weekend to honor and celebrate Native American culture and family. The event is free and open to all members of the UC San Diego community and the public.

The celebration will feature Native American arts and crafts, food, dancing and singing.

The Powow is Saturday from noon to 11 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. at Warren Field on UC San Diego's campus. Warren Field is located to the east of the Jacobs School of Engineering, on the corner of Voigt and Gilman Drive. For map, click here.
