The summer concert series is back! Starting this Sunday, and every Sunday through Labor Day, a free family-friendly concert will take place in near .
The La Jolla Concerts by the Sea series are Sundays from 2 to 4 p.m. Bring chairs or a blanket to enjoy the sounds and view from Scripps Park. The bands range from swing to blues, from country to Cajun, and of course some rock and roll.
Big Time Operator will kick off the summer series with high-energy big band music. Led by singer Warren Lovell, this ten-piece band is repeated winners in the San Diego Music Awards. Get ready to dance!
Crowd favorites include the Bill Magee Blues. Magee played with Jimi Hendricks in a band called Jimmy James and the Flames before breaking out into blues.
