See Some Strange Photos at Local Gallery

What's "stranger than paradise?" Find out at the Scott White Contemporary Art gallery.

Photographer Stefanie Schneider is giving you a glimpse of something strange and intriguing.

Scott White Contemporary Art is hosting a one-woman show by Schneider. The exhibit, named , features more than 90 contemporary photographs that depict different scenes from vacations. Things like motel signs, palm trees, bridges and intimate hotel room scenes are photographed and on exhibit.

Schneider’s photos are uniquely developed, as they’re taken with expired Poloroid film, creating an instant antique look. Some pictures look overexposed where as others are discolored and flawed. All of the photos have a “retro” look to them and you find yourself lost in their composition.
