A fun and educational summer camp for tweens and teens was held at MCASD the week of July 25.

“Kid friendly and engaging” is how Dia Bassett, ’s Teaching Artist for Summer, describes the summer program she designed for the museum. The week-long camp, which began on July 25 and was held for children ages 9-14, featured activities ranging from inquiry and discussion, to actual art making. The camp, which was meant to be an educational compliment to the museum’s current exhibition, , concluded on Friday with a showcase of the campers’ artwork.
