Random House released Look for the Lorax, the latest book featuring Dr. Seuss' Bar-ba-Loots, Swomee Swans and the loved Lorax on Tuesday. This latest 32-page book is aimed at young readers aged 4 to 6.
According to her website, Rabe has written over 125 children’s books including The Cat in the Hat’s Learning Library, a series of non-fiction Dr. Seuss science books, which have sold over 4 million copies.
The book is just $3.99 and can be found online.
This is not the only Seussical book to be released in the past year. In September 2010, a collection of seven of Dr. Suess' original tales, which were never before published, were released in a 72-page collection. The book, The Bippolo Seed and Other Lost Stories, introduced a whole new world of whimsical characters navigating some pretty zany situations. Characters include a duck named McKluck, a goldfish named Gustav, two tiny twins Tadd and Todd, and many other characters reminiscent of the beloved author’s most memorable works.
