'Million Dollar Decorators' Features La Jolla Home Tonight

Bravo's newest reality show "Million Dollar Decorators" airs Tuesday at 10 p.m. and follows interior designer Jeffery Alan Marks as he works on a Mount Soledad home.

Jeffrey Alan Marks is no stranger to La Jolla. The Santa Monica-based interior designer started his business on Herschel Avenue in La Jolla nearly 15 years ago. He has styled more than 40 houses locally, including a $20 million Mount Soledad house, which can be seen on TV Tuesday at 10 p.m.

Marks is one of five sought-after designers featured on Bravo TV’s newest reality show Million Dollar Decorators. The series follows the decorators as they design for their wealthy, and often demanding, clients.

Tonight Marks is working on a Mount Soledad house with seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. The property was built over two and a half years.

“This is the third house that I have done on that street,” said Marks. “I do a lot of work in La Jolla. Always have two or three homes going in La Jolla. I have for 15 years now.”

While Marks would not give up his clients name or the exact location of the luxury home, he did let us know it sits above the near Country Club Drive and has beautiful panoramic views.

“There are so many good houses in La Jolla. I think La Jolla has better houses than Los Angeles,” Marks said earlier today.

The show with Marks and fellow Los Angeles designers Martyn Lawrence Bullard, Kathryn Ireland, Mary McDonald and Nathan Turner, premiered May 31.

Take a peak at the upcoming season and tune in tonight at 10 p.m.
