Sip and Dine at the Summer Soiree

The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego in La Jolla is welcoming summer with a special soiree.

It's the longest day of the year, so why not celebrate the summer solstice with drinks, good food and art?

The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego (MCASD) in La Jolla is holding their second annual on Wednesday, June 20. The special event will welcome summer with drinks, dinner, an auction and art.

Mojitos, the perfect summer refresher, will be flowing at this event for all the thirsty patrons. The Bacardi-hosted bar will be serving up season flavors like strawberry, blackberry, and classic lime and mint.

Dinner will be provided by local favorite , Mediterranean bites by , scrumptious sliders from Festivities and sweet treats by the French Gourmet and .

Art aficianados can bid on some contemporary design products like a chic white Knoll table by Eero Saarinen or a Wine Barrell Lounge Chair by Barrelly Made It. Guests will also get to witness an art installation by by Brian Dick and Wendell Kling.

Does this sound like the perfect way to kick off your summer? Tickets for the Summer Solstice Soiree are just $100 for general admission. If you are an Avant Garde member, you pay just $75. Upgrade to velvet rope tickets for $150, or $125 if you're an Avant Garde Member. Velvet rope tickets include reserved seating and table service.
