MCASD Hosts a Night at Les Caves in La Jolla

The Museum of Contemporary Art will host its annual fundraiser on Sept. 7 to support exhibitions and educational programs.

Take a journey to St. Tropez without leaving your neighborhood. The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego will host its legendary Monte Carlo fundraiser on Sept. 7 in La Jolla. This year's theme is A Night At Les Caves.

For the first time in its 37-year history, Monte Carlo will have a contemporary artist serving as its Art Ambassador, the museum reported. Artist Kelsey Brookes will help craft the vision for the entire evening.

Chefs Ryan Johnston of Whisknladle, Giuseppe Ciuffa of Giuseppe Restaurants and Fine Catering and Michele Coulon of Michele Coulon Dessertier will prepare the food for the evening.

Cocktails will be served as 6:30 p.m., dinner at 8 p.m. and the after party festivities start at 9:30 p.m. Late night guest can enjoy charity gambling tables, music and a live performance by The Social Club.
