The hosts San Diego-based Malashock Dance for Malashock/RAW 2011 for one more night. The three day run, through Oct. 22, promised to be more provocative and cutting edge than ever.
The Playhouse said the choreography is an "edgy combination of revealing character studies and daring physical storytelling. In a series of humorous, yet disturbing, solos, duets and trios, (Malashock/RAW) will venture into the internal push and pull of opposing psychological forces. What you see is not necessarily what you get."

Malashock/RAW features new choreography by John Malashock, Michael Mizerany, and guest choreographers Henry Torres and Angel Arambula from LUX BOREAL in Tijuana.
