La Jolla Native Danica McKellar To Compete on 'Dancing with the Stars'

The Dancing with the Stars spring season premiere will air March 17.

La Jolla native Danica McKellar and The Price is Right host Drew Carey were among the dozen cast members named today for the spring season of ABC's Dancing with the Stars.

McKellar, likely best known her for role as Winnie on The Wonder Years, is now a best-selling author and education advocate. McKellar, 39, is partnered with professional dancer Valentin Chmerkovskiy.

The Dancing with the Stars spring season premiere will air March 17.

One rule change has been made—viewers will be able to vote to change the celebrities' professional dance partners. All the couples will be required to switch partners at a  point in the season.
