KRS-One, Xzibit and Asher Roth Coming to La Jolla

Xzibit, rapper and former host of "Pimp My Ride," will perform at Porter's Pub on UC San Diego's campus on Oct. 9. KRS-One will perform on Oct. 27 and Asher Roth on Nov. 1.

Fall quarter classes commence next week, but Porter's Pub on campus has wasted no time filling up the fall concert and entertainment lineup.

Oct. 6 - So-Cal Showcase Rock Show

Features seven bands on two stages. Brother's Gow goes on at 9 p.m. followed by Chariot of Fire at 9:30, Hard Fall Hearts at 10, King Legend at 10:45, Leanna May and the Matadors at 11:30, Locked Out of Eden at 12:15 and Trailerpark Rockstar at 1 a.m. Tickets are $15 at the door and $5 with student ID. This show is all ages until midnight. Tickets can be purchased online.

Oct. 9 - Xzibit

Tickets are $20 for general admission and $50 for VIP tickets. Both can be purchased online. The show is an all ages show, with doors at 8 p.m.

Oct 18 - Reel Rock Film Tour

 The 7th annual Reel Rock Film Tour features the climbing films. You can even check out film previews prior to the tour. Starts at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. Tickets are $1 for students and $11 for others. Buy tickets online

Oct. 27 - KRS-One & Luckyiam

Legendary rapper KRS-One tickets are $20 for general admission and $50 for VIP. This is an all ages show with doors at 8 p.m. Get tickets online.

Nov. 1 - Asher Roth & G-Eazy

This red-haired rapper loves college. Tickets for the show are $16 for general admission, $40 for a meet and greet, and $50 for VIP tickets. Tickets can be purchased online. It is an all ages show with doors at 8 p.m.
