Jodi Picoult Meet-and-Greet at Library

Meet novelist Jodi Picoult at the La Jolla Library.

She’s known for her tear-jerker novels and hitting-home stories and now she’ll be at our local library.

Author Jodi Picoult is coming to the , thanks to . Picoult will be signing and discussing her newest creation, Lone Wolf. The new novel delves into family dynamic and toys with the topic of end-of-life decisions. You can read the premise for the novel, which features a prodigal son and dying father, here.

Picoult is perhaps best known for her novel My Sister’s Keeper, a story about a family’s choice to have another child in order to save their daughter from cancer. The “savior child” asks for medical emancipation when she realizes that she’s being used only to keep her older sister alive. The emotional story was made into a film in 2009 and starred Cameron Diaz.
