Hurry Up! It's the Last Day to Enjoy the San Diego County Fair

The annual run of the San Diego County Fair is scheduled to end today, with another attendance record in sight.

With a theme this year of the "Fab Fair," the event has paid homage to the 50th anniversary of the Beatles arrival in the U.S. as part of the so- called "British Invasion" in pop music.

The final day will include events such as Mop Top Trivia at 3 p.m. and Beatles music at 5 p.m.

Sundays at the fair celebrate Hispanic culture, so mariachi and banda performer Ezequiel Pena will headline the fair's final concert.

A Fair spokeswoman said late last week that this year's edition was on its way to setting an attendance record, but specific numbers were not available. Fair attendance topped the 1 million mark last Sunday.
