The La Jolla Playhouse announced the cast and creative team for its production of David Mamet's Pulitzer Prize-winning Glengarry Glen Ross on Monday.
Peter Maloney will portray Shelley Levene and Manu Narayan will play Richard Roma in the drama that follows a group of salesmen in a Chicago real estate office.
The cast will also include Jeff Marlow as James Lingk; Matt MacNelly as Baylen; Kevin Skousen as Dave Moss; Ray Anthony Thomas as George Aaronow; and Johnny Wu as John Williamson.
Christopher Ashley, who has served as the playhouse's artistic director since 2007, will be the director. Glengarry Glen Ross will run from Sept. 18 to Oct. 21 in the Sheila and Hughes Potiker Theatre.
“In the nearly 30 years since it first burst upon the scene, Glengarry Glen Ross hasn't lost an ounce of its ferocity, relevance or impact,” Ashley said. “It's a long-overdue privilege to bring the work of David Mamet to the Playhouse's stage.”
Todd Rosenthal will be the set designer, Toni Leslie James the costume designer, David Lander the lighting designer, David Corsello the sound designer and Shirley Fishman the dramaturg.
Tickets are available online at LaJollaPlayhouse.org or by calling 858-550-1010.
