Foovie: ‘Attack of the Killer Tomatoes’

Head to UC San Diego

Like movies? Like nibbles? Like grade-Z movies like this legendarily corny look at the humble tomato? Then head to The Loft on UC San Diego's campus to watch Attack of the Killer Tomatoes over dinner tonight.

You'll like this evening even more when you realize it was shot at UC San Diego and a well-known former state senator and assemblyman, Steve Peace, produced it.

The menu (naturally, tomato-based): Chips and salsa, gazpacho shooters, chicken and feta tostadas.
