Wine and Canvas is painting La Jolla’s Cozymels red, purple, blue, orange and ? The newest mobile lifestyle painting class with cocktails, Wine and Canvas, will hold classes on August 9, 15, 21 and 28 at Cozymels, 4303 La Jolla Village Dr, from 6 – 9 pm. Reservations are required.
“Cozymels is a great setting for Wine and Canvas to bring together groups of friends to share cocktails and laughs while painting the night away and no artistic experience or talent is required,” explains Mary Zwerneman, owner of Wine and Canvas, San Diego. “Our goal is to make painting easy and exciting and, at the end, have everyone take home a masterpiece that they created.”
Wine and Canvas provides brushes, canvas, paints, aprons and an artist to guide the fun, and all attendees take home a 16” X 20” masterpiece. Talented artists instruct participants, step-by-step, through re-creating the featured painting of the day which are: “Wheat Field” on August 9; “Sunset Swells” on August 15; “Mission Bay Sunset” on August 21; and “Dirt Road” on August 28.
