Native American students will host the first Powwow on campus in nearly 20 years. Day includes dance and other activities that honor American Indian culture. The theme is “Kumeyaay: Past, Present, Future.”
Festivities include food, from fry bread to Indian tacos, vendors, bird dancing/singing, gourd dancing/singing, fancy shawl dancing, jingle dress dancing and grass dancing. Hosted by the UCSD Native American Student Alliance.
