A new San Diego-based 18-voice professional choral ensemble, South Coast Chamber Choir founded and conducted by Gary McKercher, music director of the San Diego Master Chorale, makes its debut concerts in June 2012.
"Nothing Sacred" features secular music by Monteverdi, Martin, Rossini, Poulenc, Mellnas, Jarret, Fine, and Bartok. Concerts are scheduled as a part of the Performing Arts at the Neurosciences Institute series on Saturday, June 16.
