San Diego Jewish Book Fair

The San Diego Jewish Book Fair runs Nov. 3 through 10, 14 and 15. The festival includes a lineup of acclaimed authors, lectures, an evening of comedy and a Family Day celebration. Many events are free. Today's festival features:

  • Rabbi Morey Schwartz, Where's My Miracle? Exploring Jewish Traditions for Dealing with Tragedy at 10 a.m.
  • Judith Viorst, Unexpectedly Eighty: and Other Adaptations at noon.
  • Michael Hirsh, The Liberators: America's Witnesses to the Holocaust at 2 p.m.
  • Annie Korzen, Bargain Junkie: Living the Good Life on the Cheap at 4 p.m.
  • 7th Annual Murray Goodman Memorial Lecture with Mitchell Bard, The Arab Lobby: The Invisible Alliance That Undermines America's Interests in the Middle East at 7:30 p.m.

Talks@2 with Michael Hirsch is free. Tickets must be purchased for the other events.
