San Diego Jewish Book Fair

The San Diego Jewish Book Fair runs Nov. 3 through 10, 14 and 15. The festival includes a lineup of acclaimed authors, lectures, an evening of comedy and a Family Day celebration. Many events are free. Today's festival features:

  • Angella Nazarian, Life as a Visitor at 10 a.m.
  • An Understanding of the Science and Struggles in Stem Cell Research with Laurie Strongin, Saving Henry: A Mother's Journey at 4 p.m.
  • Dr. Lawrence Goldstein, Stem Cells for Dummies at 5 p.m.
  • Dr. Erica Brown, Confronting Scandal: How Jews Can Respond When Jews Do Bad Things at 7:30 p.m.

The 4 p.m. event is free. Tickets must be purchased for the other events.
