The San Diego Jewish Book Fair runs Nov. 3 through 10, 14 and 15. The festival includes a lineup of acclaimed authors,lectures, an evening of comedy and a Family Day celebration. Many events are free. Today's festival features:
- Chef Jeff Rossman, From Terra's Table, New American Food, Fresh From Southern California's Organic Farms at 10 a.m.
- Lisa Slovis Mandel, Pewter Studio at 11 a.m.
- and Sam Hoffman,Old Jews Telling Jokes: 5000 Years of Funny Bits and Not-So-Kosher Laughs at noon.
The 11 a.m. event is free. Tickets must be purchased for the other events.
