San Diego Book Arts' Fourth National Juried Exhibition

The San Diego Book Arts will hold their Fourth National Juried Exhibition of works of art in book form at UC San Diego’s Geisel Library from May 26 through July 8.

Nearly 60 books—running the gamut from fine press books and mixed media art objects to sculptural works of art and woodcut works— will be featured in the exhibition, which is co-sponsored by UC San Diego’s Mandeville Special Collections Library. While some of the objects on display adhere to the traditional book format, others employ the book as a canvas for art, merely taking their creative cue from the book format.

This year’s juror, book artist Carolee Campbell, is the sole proprietor of Ninja Press—which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2004—as well as an Emmy Award-winning actress.
