Prepare to be seduced when Dita Von Teese headlines MCASD's 35th annual gala, Monte Carlo Goes Burlesque on September 10, 2011. The Museum’s boudoir-inspired transformation will provide the perfect backdrop as Dita mesmerizes dinner guests with a scintillating performance that is quintessentially “Dita.”

Valerie Cooper and David C. Copley will co-chair this party like no other, sure to be the event of the year.

The night will begin with a cocktail party featuring signature burlesque-themed concoctions, followed by an elegant dinner served under the stars in a dazzling, seaside dining room. Following dinner the party will continue late into the night at the After Party—an event unto itself featuring DJs, dancing in the Boom Boom Room, gaming, and of course, another late-night performance by Dita.

After Party tickets will go on sale July 18. Ticket prices are $150 for Members, and $200 for non-members.

All proceeds from this gala event support the Museum’s education programs and exhibitions. For more information regarding sponsorship opportunities, please contact Rob Sherer at 858 454 3541 x162 or rsherer@mcasd.org
