‘I Hear America Singing’ Concert

The Pacificaires and Cedar Center Chorus will combine to present a varied concert featuring music of our American heritage.     The music of Leonard Bernstein and George Gershwin, traditional African-American spirituals, Appalachian fiddle tunes and pop standards will be enjoyed by all.   Conducted by Eunice Williams, Vicki Heins-Shaw and Naomi Hobbs will be accompanying on the piano, with Ondrej Lewitt on violin, Rob Thoresen on bass, Jon Crick on woodwinds, Reno Calice on percussion, Nancy Hupp on flute and Stephen Morden on brass.

This is a free concert, open to the public.  June 11, 2011, 2 pm, at Sherwood Hall in the Museum of Cont. Art, SD, 700 Prospect Street.
