This documentary features interviews with artists Larry Bell and Judy Chicago, curator Maurice Tuchman, and art theorist Thomas McEvilley, as it follows the story of an artist who refused conventional limitations of space and the physical qualities of materials by seeking the freedom of ideas. A Q&A with filmmaker Elizabeth Orr, the artist’s daughter, will follow the screening.
