Market-to-Table

Featuring Cups Culinary Director Jesus Gonzalez, former Creative Chef for Rancho La Puerta and Golden Door Spas.

Learn how to shop like a chef at the Farmer’s Market…then learn how to cook like one too! Join Jesus on a tour of the La Jolla Farmer’s Market, as he identifies and describes the summer bounty available at the market that day. The class will then collectively choose items to purchase from the market for Jesus to cook in the Cups Culinary demo kitchen. Recipes will be provided to all participants in this instructional class with an expert in using the freshest, local, seasonal ingredients. Lunch prepared and provided from the market’s bounty.

$55. 10am-1pm (Minimum 8, maximum 16).

Wear comfortable walking shoes. Meet at Cups Culinary at 9:45am to walk over to the farmer’s market together as a group; if unable to walk, let us know, and meet up with the group at the gate to farmer’s market at 10am. This class will be offered alternating Sundays throughout the summer.
