Celebrate the 40th anniversary of the library with displays of books by local fine presses. Items on display will include miniature books, altered and sculptural books, and artist books from members of San Diego Book Arts.
The fair will also demonstrate letterpress type-setting and printing, bookbinding techniques and restoration, and book structures such as Jacob’s ladder, flag book, mica, and origami.
A make-a-book table for children will be featured and there will be a silent auction and raffle. All proceeds will benefit book arts' community education programs.
