Celebrate Independence Day with Bird Rock's annual Beuamont Parade.
This year’s theme is Bird Rock Goes To The Movies. The parade is filled with floats, bicycles, skateboarders, dogs and neighbors all dressed up in red, white and blue.
Be a part of the parade or just watch from the sidewalks the action starts at 10 a.m. The best-decorated float gets the “Uncle Sam,” second place is The Silver Bowl.
For most creative interpretation of ‘movies’ theme and even the most decorated home gets an award “The Murphy Cup”. There will be a food, kids games and a band playing at the cul-de-sac-party
The parade will head norther along Beaumont to Mira Monte. The main stage will take place at Mira Monte cul-de-sac behind La Jolla Methodist Church.
