Comedian David Steinberg will share a look of his life with La Jolla. Steinberg will put on a one-man show, David Steinberg: Still Disguised as a Normal Person, at the on Aug. 16-25.
Steinberg began his comedy career with The Second City. He now has several comedy albums, several Grammy awards and has been on TV as a writer, director and comedian. He's also been on the Tonight Show more than 100 times.
He has directed episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm, Friends and Seinfeld.
Currently, he has teamed up with Steve Carrell as executive producer and star of Inside Comedy, a comedy documentary series for Showtime. For the show, Steinberg interviews some of the comedic greats including Billy Crystal, Chris Rock, Martin Short and Robin Williams.
Steinberg’s show at the Playhouse is a workshop production.
